An SOS Technical High School graduate has initiated the "WomenTechIn" program, a groundbreaking initiative that intends to work with all genders to solve one big challenge: "How can more women join and remain in the technology industry?"
The program currently offers training to 16 girls and 9 boys in coding and design thinking skills, creating a collaborative environment where all participants can learn and grow together.
WomenTechIn aims to bridge the gender gap in technology by providing mentorship, technical training, and networking opportunities. The program focuses on practical skills that are directly applicable to the tech industry, including web development, mobile app development, and UI/UX design.
This initiative reflects SOS Technical High School's commitment to empowering its graduates and fostering innovation beyond the classroom. The school continues to support alumni-led programs that contribute to Rwanda's growing tech ecosystem.
