New Digital Innovation Lab opens at SOS THS

SOS Technical High School has officially opened its new Digital Innovation Lab, a major investment in the school's commitment to preparing students for careers in the modern technology sector.

The lab features 40 high-performance workstations, 3D printers, IoT development kits, and a dedicated server room for networking students to practice on enterprise-grade infrastructure. The facility was made possible through a partnership between SOS Children's Villages Rwanda and technology sector donors.

"This lab represents a leap forward for our ICT programs," said the School Director. "Our students will now have access to the same tools and technologies used by professionals in the industry."

The Innovation Lab will serve students across all four ICT programs: Software Development, Electronics & Telecommunication, Networking & Internet Technology, and Computer System & Architecture. It will also host weekend coding workshops open to young people in the surrounding community.
