SOS THS partners with kLab for student internships
A new partnership with Kigali's leading tech hub will place Software Development and Networking students in supervised internships with local startups and tech companies.
SOS Technical High School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with kLab, Kigali's premier technology hub, to provide internship opportunities for final-year ICT students.
Under the agreement, students in the Software Development and Networking & Internet Technology programs will complete supervised internships at startups and tech companies operating within the kLab ecosystem. The placements will run during Term 3 and give students direct exposure to professional work environments.
"Internships bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations," said the Head of ICT. "Our students will gain real project experience, professional mentorship, and networking opportunities that can lead directly to employment."
The partnership also includes guest lectures from kLab members, hackathon participation for SOS THS students, and mentorship pairings between industry professionals and senior students.
