First SOS THS alumni networking event held in Kigali
Over 80 graduates from across multiple cohorts gathered for the school's inaugural alumni networking event, sharing career experiences and mentoring current students.
SOS Technical High School hosted its first-ever alumni networking event, bringing together over 80 graduates from classes spanning 2010 to 2023 at a venue in Kigali.
The event featured panel discussions with alumni working in software development, telecommunications, construction, and entrepreneurship. Current students attended to hear about career paths and gain insights from professionals who once sat in the same classrooms.
"Seeing where our graduates are today is the best measure of our school's impact," said the School Director. "From software engineers at leading tech companies to business owners running successful construction firms, our alumni are proof that TVET education works."
The event concluded with the formation of the SOS THS Alumni Association, which will organize annual gatherings, mentorship programs, and an alumni scholarship fund to support current students from vulnerable backgrounds.
